Allied Health Website Design
Patients now describe their symptoms to AI before they choose a practice, and AI recommends the sites it can learn the most from. We build allied health websites deep enough for AI to trust and recommend, and structured to convert the patients it sends. Custom design, SEO from day one, core-page copy written for your practice, and live in under two months or your money back.

Michael Coleman: Hello, my name is Michael Coleman and I’m the founder of Local Health Marketing. Welcome to my website. Over the next 10 minutes, I want to show you a little about websites, SEO and the process we use. We won’t be the right fit for every clinic, but I hope you learn something useful today.
Building a deeper clinic sitemap
When we plan a website for a multidisciplinary clinic, we map dedicated pages for its individual services. A typical health website may combine everything on one services page, or have only one page for each discipline. We take the structure further because, as a rule of thumb, each page should have one clear search topic.
For example, people search separately for sports physiotherapy, post-surgical rehabilitation and women’s health physiotherapy. Dedicated pages give Google clearer information about each service and create more relevant opportunities to appear in search. The same principle applies to osteopathy, chiropractic care, remedial massage and the conditions a clinic treats.
Creating your clinic’s “AI brain”
We also create pages around the people a clinic helps—such as active adults, people preparing for surgery, or people using NDIS or other funding pathways. These pages help search engines and AI systems understand the clinic’s services, approach, practitioners and patient groups in greater depth.
I think of this as the clinic’s “AI brain”: a useful, structured body of information that reflects what the clinic does, how it works and who it helps. A simple website gives search engines a limited base to work with. A deeper website creates more relevant entry points before ongoing SEO work even begins.
Designing for easier bookings
A clinic website also needs to make the next step obvious. The Book an Appointment action should be visually prominent, with the phone number still easy to find. Visitors should quickly be able to identify what they need—whether they are in pain, recovering from an injury, using a funding pathway, or trying to move and perform better.
The homepage should clearly introduce the clinic’s services, explain how to get started, show relevant funding options, and help visitors understand their care pathway. Location pages can also make the clinic’s service area clearer to potential patients and support local search visibility. Condition pages help people understand which practitioners or services may be relevant to what they are experiencing.

The goal is to invest in the website’s structure and content upfront, creating a stronger foundation for search, AI visibility and conversion. If this approach resonates with you, complete the free mockup form. I’ll research your clinic, map a proposed sitemap and create a homepage concept, then present the thinking to you. Thank you for watching.

What Most Practice Websites Need to Do Better
Most allied health websites were built to look professional. Fewer were built to convert visitors into bookings. The gap between those two things is where practices lose patients every week.
The patterns we see repeatedly:
- An outdated site that no longer reflects the quality of care the practice delivers
- Patients landing on the site and leaving without a clear next step
- No mobile-friendly design, even though most patients search on a phone
- A previous web project that took six months, cost far more than the quote, and still didn't rank on Google
- SEO treated as an afterthought, bolted on after the build rather than built in from the start
- Content that may or may not comply with AHPRA advertising guidelines
Every one of these is a booking that went somewhere else.
How We Build Allied Health Websites
The brief for every website we build is the same: what does a patient need to see to book an appointment?
That question drives the page structure, the content hierarchy, the calls to action, and the booking pathway. We pre-wire integrations with Cliniko, Nookal, and other practice management systems so booking is one tap on mobile, not a four-step process.
SEO is built into the site architecture before a single page is designed. Title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure, schema markup, site speed, internal linking. None of it gets retrofitted. When the site launches, it is already configured to rank.
Every word on the site goes through an AHPRA compliance review. No clinical outcome claims. No comparative superlatives. No testimonials that imply clinical results. The content works for patients and stays on the right side of the guidelines.
The full build goes live in under two months. Not by cutting corners, but because we have a refined process for allied health websites specifically, and your AI Brain is built up front. You see your site before you pay a cent. If we miss the agreed timeline, you get your money back. After launch, you own the website outright, with no proprietary platform, lock-in, or ongoing licence fees.

Modalities We Serve
We design websites for allied health practices across twelve modalities. The structure, content, and booking pathways are tailored to how patients search for your specific profession and your location.
Results: 160% Website Traffic Growth with Measurable Bookings
Raise The Bar, a psychology practice, needed a website that could carry the load of a growing patient pipeline. We built a custom high-performance site with SEO baked in, conversion tracking active from day one, and content mapped to the search terms their patients use.
Over time, the practice gained a measurable digital booking pathway. Organic search became the leading patient acquisition channel, accounting for 43% of digital bookings, while website traffic grew by 160%.
That outcome does not come from a site that looks good. It comes from a site built to convert, with the SEO and content infrastructure to drive qualified traffic to it.
How It Works
We Build Your AI Brain
We interview you and your team to capture how your practice thinks: your treatment philosophy, every condition you treat, and the way you approach each one. All of it is structured into a knowledge base we call your AI Brain, the source we train your content on, so your site reflects your practice rather than a template.
We Design Your Homepage Mockup
You see the direction before you commit to anything. Review it, tell us what to adjust, and if you decide not to go ahead there is nothing to pay, or your money back if you already have.
We Generate Your Site
With your AI Brain and an approved homepage, we produce the content and design for every page: services and conditions written with real depth, kept inside AHPRA rules, with booking and tracking wired in. Live in under two months or your money back.
Launch and Grow
Your site launches as a source AI can trust and recommend, with its core content and search foundations in place. Ongoing SEO, Google Ads, and Google Business Profile services can build on that foundation when you are ready.
Frequently Asked Questions
How fast can you build the site?
We move from brief to launch in under two months. The pace comes from a clear brief process, your AI Brain built up front, and a purpose-built framework for healthcare sites. If we miss the agreed delivery date, you get your money back.
Will I own my website?
Yes. You own your website and its content. You are not locked into a proprietary platform, ongoing licence, or dependency on LHM to retain access. It is built for speed, technical SEO, and long-term growth from day one.
What does "SEO built in" actually mean?
It means the site launches with its full technical SEO foundation in place. Correct title tags and meta descriptions on every page. Proper heading hierarchy. Schema markup relevant to your modality. Internal linking structure. Sitemap submitted to Google. Core Web Vitals within acceptable range. SEO built in means the site is ready to rank on the day it launches, not three months later after a separate SEO engagement.
Do you integrate with Cliniko and Nookal?
Yes. Both integrations are standard. We also work with other practice management systems if you use something else. The booking flow is configured to minimise friction: a patient should be able to land on your site and complete a booking in under 60 seconds on a mobile device.
What happens after the website launches?
If you add SEO as an ongoing service, we manage a content and optimisation programme scoped to your search opportunity, goals, and budget. If you add Google Ads, the site is already set up to receive paid traffic with conversion tracking active. Google Business Profile management can run alongside the site to cover local search. The website is the foundation. The other channels build on it.
Is the website content AHPRA-compliant?
Every piece of content goes through an AHPRA compliance review before it is written into the final site. This includes service descriptions, blog posts, any patient-facing copy, and calls to action. We do not use template content. Every page is written for your specific practice, your services, and your location, and reviewed against the current AHPRA advertising guidelines.
